The Commonwealth Institute 13th Annual Top Women-Led Business Awarded to Datamaxx

Tallahassee, Fla. – (July 2019) – Datamaxx Applied Technologies, Inc. (Datamaxx), was recognized as one of Florida’s 2019 Top 50 Women-Led Businesses by The Commonwealth Institute (TCI). Directed by CEO, President and Co-Founder Kay Stephenson, Datamaxx ranked No. 31 and has been an honoree for thirteen years in a row. Selections are based on an annual survey distributed to 28,000 Florida businesses with responses analyzed by Kaufman Rossin, a South Florida accounting firm.
The Commonwealth Institute in South Florida is a non-profit organization devoted to helping women entrepreneurs, CEOs, and corporate executives build successful businesses through peer mentoring programs. In addition to evaluating women leaders and their businesses as well as determining the Top 50 Women-Led Businesses, TCI’s 2019 survey concluded that the number of women-owned firms has increased by 58% since the recession. With Florida being a major player in the trend of growing women-led businesses, the survey data revealed that revenue of the Top 50 Women-Led Businesses in Florida tripled with 20% of respondents reporting revenue over $10M this year.
